CAPITULO CXXXII. LA QUINTA DEL BUITRE

Estos días LA QUINTA DEL BUITRE ha estado en boca de todo el mundo, con motivo de un premio concedido por la COMUNIDAD DE MADRID. Ahora que parece que solo el Barca saca canteranos, no esta mal recordar a este maravilloso e inigualable grupo.

El día 3 de diciembre de 1983 se estableció un récord sensacional: 85.000 espectadores para un partido de Segunda División. Se trataba de un pulso entre dos grandes canteras, las del Madrid y el Athletic con el Bernabeu como testigo. En el Castilla, La Quinta del Buitre (sin SANCHIS ni MARTIN VAZQUEZ ya subidos al primer equipo), cuyo ataque maravillaba, pero jugaban con otros grandes jugadores como: Ochotorena, Francis, Martín González, y dirigidos por AMANCIO. El único gol lo marcó Butragueño en el 35′, a saque de falta de Míchel. Toda una premonición….

Martin Vazquez y Sanchis, los primeros en subir al primer equipo

El Castilla fue esa temporada campeón de Segunda a los tres años de ser finalista de Copa, con MICHEL como único integrante, por cuanto que BUTRAGUEÑO y PARDEZA ya estaban en el primer equipo. MICHEL subio al primer equipo en la temporada 84-85.

A partir de ahí, todo el mundo sabe la historia. 5 Ligas jugando de forma maravillosa. Solo les faltó la COPA DE EUROPA. Estuvo cerca sobre todo en aquella fatídica semifinal ante el PSV, con el 1-1 en el Bernabeu, y ese empate a 0 desesperante en Holanda. Curiosamente SANCHIS acabaría ganando la ansiada Copa de Europa.

Sin duda, LA QUINTA DEL BUITRE trasciende al MADRID, porque es el grupo de jugadores españoles posiblemente mas famosos de la historia. Eso demuestra, que pese a que hay que hacer grandes fichajes, la CANTERA no debe perderse de vista nunca. Otra QUINTA nos puede estar esperando!!!
