CAPITULO CXXXVI. EL MAL FARIO DE LA CAMISETA NEGRA

Una de las cosas feas del partido del Domingo, fue ver al MADRID jugando en casa vestido de negro. Cuestiones publicitarias obligaron a ello. Lo cierto es que muchos han visto un gafe en el hecho de llevar esa camiseta, como motivo de la humillante derrota sufrida el Domingo.

Y es que en materia de camisetas, la tradición es la tradición, y los cambios no siempre se han visto bien. El MADRID siempre ha llevado la camiseta y pantalón blanca, o mejor dicho casi siempre, porque a lo largo de su historia, ha habido varios cambios en la indumentaria. Ya en otros capitulos del Blog, comentamos la historia de la indumentaria, pero hoy me voy a referir a algún cambio que tampoco salio bien. Hemos de volver a recordar lo que los Estatutos de fundación del REAL MADRID en 1902 se decían:

«El uniforme reglamentario será para los partidos ordinarios pantalón azul oscuro, corto y recto, blusa blanca y medias oscuras, y para los partidos extraordinarios será: pantalón y blusa blancos, medias negras con vueltas y cinturón con los colores nacionales, completando este uniforme un casquete azul oscuro”.

Evolución del uniforme con la novedad de 1925

Pero hubo un cambio temporal de uniforme, en la temporada 1925-26, consistente en camisa blanca de una tonalidad cruda, y pantalón y medias negras. ESCOBAR y PAGARES, integrantes del primer equipo, decidieron en un viaje que hicieron a iNGLATERRA cambiar el uniforme del club por uno a semejanza del usado por el CORINTHIAN FOOTBALL inglés. Este equipo londinense amateur gozaba de una gran fama mundial por su juego elegante y deportivo y su rechazo total del profesionalismo. Sin embargo, un suceso llevó a la sustitución. El club perdió frente al Barcelona 1-5 en un partido de Copa. En la vuelta volvieron a perder, por 3-0, por lo que el Presidente Parages echó la culpa de la derrota al mal fario de los uniformes «corinthianos» y mandó al encargado del material que se deshiciese de ellos.

Finalmente en el año 1955, las medias también pasaron a ser blancas, con lo que el uniforme era blanco por completo, y ahí llegaron los mayores logros y éxitos del club. El BLANCO es nuestro color
