CAPITULO VIII. EL ANTIMADRIDISMO

Convendremos que desde hace ya unos cuantos años, existe en España una corriente cada vez más creciente y numerosa dañina y perjudicial. Me refiero al anti madridismo. Y no solo en los aficionados en general, sino también en los medios de comunicación.

Resulta obvio no ya solo en muchos campos de España, sino también en los distintos medios de comunicación (con honrosas excepciones), que ser anti madridista está de moda, de la misma forma que ser madridista parece que resulta carca, antiguo,, poco moderno con los tiempos que corren.

Siempre ha habido lógicamente aficiones que, por razón de la eterna rivalidad existente, han sido anti madridistas en general. Así en fútbol ocurre con el Barcelona y Atlético de Madrid, y en baloncesto, con el Barcelona y con el Estudiantes. Hasta ahí todo lógico. La rivalidad respecto de los equipos de tu ciudad, no es algo solo de Madrid, sino que en todas las ciudades del mundo, existe esa rivalidad. Del mismo modo, la rivalidad frente a tu eterno rival, aquel que lucha por los mismos objetivos que tú, es comprensible, lógico, y hasta sano.

Lo que ya no es entendible es que el resto de equipos, aficiones, y medios de comunicación en general hayan adoptado la postura de considerar al Real Madrid como un elemento hostil. La propaganda desde luego ha hecho su efecto.

¿Y desde cuando viene esta curiosa, por no llamarlo de otro modo, moda?

Por buscar un punto de partida, hemos de remontarnos al famoso partido jugado en Gijón correspondiente a la temporada 79-80. Un 25 de noviembre de 1979, jugábamos en el Molinón, y una jugada, generó el ya famoso y manido “así, así, así gana el madrid”. Corría el minuto 7 del partido, y hubo una falta del madridista SAN JOSE al argentino Ferrero. Para el árbitro, Ausocúa Sanz, el lance no era susceptible de sanción, pero sí en cambio expulsó al argentino por su reacción ante la falta, consistente en una brutal patada al madridista. Ello motivó que el césped se llenase de almohadillas, y que la grada corease ese cántico. No debemos olvidar que había mucha rivalidad, pues el Sporting de aquella época peleaba por la Liga con el Madrid. No en vano, la temporada anterior, se habían disputado la Liga, que acabaría ganando el MADRID. Curiosamente fue en el lance que comentamos, fue SAN JOSE quien resultó lesionado con la patada de Ferrero, pero el cántico quedó ahí.

No deja de ser un dato histórico, que en todo caso encierra el nacimiento de un cántico tristemente famoso.

Pero de lo que no hay duda alguna es que ser anti madridista, parece ser más rentable que lo contrario. Pero no hay que preocuparse, en el fondo, el anti madridismo no es más que una frustración. La frustración de ver como el Madrid, día sí y día también, gana y suma títulos. El día que no exista “anti madridismo” es cuando realmente hemos de preocuparnos, porque ese día ya no estaremos ganando, y dejaremos de ser temidos.

Porque en definitiva, eso es lo que les ocurre a nuestros rivales.  No es malo que seamos el blanco de todas las iras, de todas las fobias de los rivales. No es malo ser el equipo más odiado, porque en el fondo, lo que significa es que somos el equipo más temido.

No olvidemos que ya D. SANTIAGO BERNABEU comentaba al respecto: “Al ser España un país de envidiosos, todos nuestros males vienen de haber sido tantas veces campeones».

Y desde luego, ya por aquel entonces la prensa nos era poco proclives, pues se quejaba amargamente D. SANTIAGO BERNABEU, llegando incluso a decir: «Cuando esté en el lecho de muerte, pido a Dios que me deje un último momento de lucidez para dirigirme a la Prensa y decirles: sois todos unos hijos de …».
