CAPITULO XXXIX. LOS PRIMEROS REAL MADRID-CELTA

La experiencia enseña. Tácito

El Domingo tendrá lugar el partido de liga entre el Real Madrid y el Celta de Vigo. Partido habitual en los últimos años, donde el equipo vigues ha estado en la primera división de forma mas o menos continuada. Partido importante, pues en este duelo que estamos manteniendo ante el Barcelona, no es deseable ceder siquiera un empate, pues se antoja que el duelo entre los dos grandes del fútbol español puede prolongarse, quien sabe si hasta la ultima jornada.

Tiempo habrá de analizar el partido, pero ahora vamos a recordar en este capitulo de hoy, los primeros enfrentamientos entre nuestro equipo y el conjunto gallego.

Hemos de remontarnos a la temporada 39-40. En la primera vuelta, un  24 de Diciembre de 1939, en pleno día de nochebuena, tuvimos que desplazarnos hasta Vigo para disputar la cuarta jornada de aquella temporada. Afortunadamente el viaje no fue en balde, pues el equipo blanco logró la victoria por 2 a 3. ESPINOSA, MARDONES, QUINCOCES, SAUTO, IPIÑA, LEONCITO, MARIN, TRIANA, MESEGUER, LECUE y EMILIO. Esa fue la alineación ese día tan señalado, siendo los goleadores IPIÑA y MESEGUER.

En esa misma temporada 39-40, pero en la jornada 15, un 10 de marzo de 1940, se disputaba en Madrid el partido de vuelta. Con goles de IPIÑA y EMILIO, el equipo blanco se imponía al gallego por 2 a 1. No fue una temporada brillante, pues acabamos cuartos en la Liga, pero ahí queda el dato de los primeros enfrentamientos con el equipo gallego.

Por supuesto que la vinculación con el equipo vigues no acaba ahí. Hemos de decir que alguna de nuestras grandes leyendas proceden del equipo celtiña, y en concreto, me refiero a PAHIÑO  que desde el año 1948 hasta 1953 formó parte del equipo blanco procedente del Celta. Lo destaco porque cuando ALFFREDO DI STEFANO llegó al club, heredó el numero 9 que habia dejado PAHIÑO  con su marcha. Quien sabe la dupla que podrían haber formado los dos de haber coincidido en elmismo periodo.

Finalmente como curiosidad, decir que tras el campo del Barcelona, el campo del CELTA  es el segundo campo mas difícil para los nuestros, pues desde el punto de vista estadístico, es donde hemos cosechado mas derrotas, teniendo en cuenta los partidos disputados.

Como vemos, aunque parece un equipo menor comparado con los grandes colosos a los que nos enfrentamos, no debemos desdeñar que siempre ha sido un equipo complicado históricamente.

Así que estemos atentos este fin de semana, pues aunque tengamos la tentación de mirar ya al enfrentamiento con el MANCHESTER CITY, o el del Barcelona en Liga, no debemos olvidar que el partido es complicado, y que son tres puntos igual que los demás.
